The first stage of straw production takes place at our facilities using our paper straw production machines. At this stage, production machines acquire high-grade, virgin paper fiber from one of our partner paper roll suppliers. Each production machine is integrated with different technologies, and the production process is divided into the following steps:
Material Preparation: High-grade paper is processed and tailored to achieve the desired characteristics of thickness and flexibility.
Forming: Each production machine is fitted with a high-precision paper shaping system to fabricate straw tubes.
Cutting: Automated industrial robotic arms are programmed to cut straw tubes to the exact lengths requested by customers.
Finishing: Based on departing customer specifications, machines are capable of executing a finishing process on straws which incorporates printing and branding.
Quality Control: Straws are subject to numerous tests to each production batch in order to meet the approvals and certificates for compliance with international standards.
Additional industry-wide modernization efforts yielding higher standards of sustainability continue to enable us to meet customer specifications with the paper straw manufacturing process.
